Hey guys! Amsterdam is surprisingly a beautiful city. I can't wait to show you all pictures of the canals. (Who knew there would be canals here?!) Last night was wonderful; the German couple made us a large breakfast with all kinds of breads and meats and cheeses. I AM IN LOVE WITH NUTELLA. it's good stuff, guys...mix it with a little cream cheese and voila! bon appetit. (see? i'm already fluent in other languages.) We took a train ALL DAY to Amsterdam, and arrived a few hours ago. The guys went to the Red Light District to "look around" (yeah right...), but us girls didn't feel comfortable so we just stayed here at the Roach Motel. Literally we walked in to our room and none of the sheets had been changed and there was a bong? smoking thing on one of the beds. Interesting. After this trip I should be able to sleep anywhere. So that's that...all the tulips are dead already...we just missed the season. Sad day indeed. Tomorrow we are going to see Anne Frank's house and will bike around! Good luck to me! Tessa and I are going to rent a tandem bike I think (I'll pay for the difference because I'm the retarded one who never learned) and it should be fun. I love you all and will talk to you in a few days! Tomorrow is Amsterdam, tomorrow night is a night train to Prague, which is most people's favorite place to go. I'm excited but so incredibly homesick. I'm trying hard not to think of home and just enjoy living in the moment.
