conference was good today. logan and i drove up to salt lake to see grandma and grandpa miller, a handful of heathcotes (john, jennifer, sarah, sam, and emma), uncle brad and cody, and various other scouts from uncle brad's ward. it was really good to spend time with the heathcotes and grandma and grandpa. we watched conference from their hotel room, and then drove the 3 miles into downtown salt lake to meet everyone for a picnic lunch. we then watched the second session and us girls went shopping. it was fabulous.
gateway mall is expensive. i felt like i didn't belong. stores like anthropologie are so artistically beautiful inside it makes me want to buy everything and then decorate a whole house. but it's stores like that that i don't understand. i refuse to spend $58 on a shirt. i don't know how anyone justifies an $89 dress. i'm cheap. sometimes i think target is expensive. (oh boy that's lame.) but we had fun anyway. some of sarah's guy friends met up with us and we went out to dinner. it was fun and frustrating and awkward and amazing and sometimes made me want to scream in a fit of giddy happiness. overall the day was long but fabulous. sarah bought an uber cute scarf. (see picture)
here are all of us girls, minus sarah (she took the picture):i'm excited to backpack europe!! 29 days....WOO! :)

That's so fun that all the Heathcotes and Uncle Brad and the boys came out for conference. We were cooped up all weekend, staring at the computer screen (because we're super cheap, too and won't pay $50 a month for cable when the only "extra" channel we would really use would be BYU-TV). Can't wait to see you!
That's quite funny that you coop up around the computer. Don't they broadcast it at the church building? (But I suppose you'd have to get out of your pajamas for that...)
You girls all look so pretty! Alex, I love you hair in that picture. Did you pull it back?
I did pull it back. It's finally long enough to just stick a bunch of bobby pins in it and the curls fall wherever. It's so easy! that's how I'm going to wear it when I go to europe.
